Salvation Through Jesus

Divine Salvation is a very broad and inclusive term.  The Bible definition is: to be saved, rescued, delivered, healed, made whole; in any and every area of life.

However, here we will deal with the term and concept as it relates to the eternal salvation of our souls.

God created the world in a perfect way.  He created man perfect, in being and in character. Man was placed in God's presence and glory to walk with God and to know God. (Genesis 1:27-31, Genesis 2, Hebrews 2:7) Man was made to live forever.

However, in this blessed state, man (Adam & Eve) was tempted by satan to walk outside of the laws of life and to break the commandments of God. (Romans 5:12-19)

When this happened Adam separated himself, in spirit, from God Who is eternal life itself.  This brought death into the world and death into the human race. (Isaiah 59:1-2, Romans 6:23)

Now man was no longer walking in unison with God (Colossians 1:21). His nature became twisted towards sin and evil (Genesis 6:5), and he would no longer live forever.  Instead, man would be eternally separated from God.

Because of Adam's sin, we are all born into this world with a natural tendency to sin.  The result is that we all end up acting out that inclination - we sin! (Romans 3:23)

The huge problem this brings us to, is that we are separated from God - Eternal Life.

In eternity there are only two places. One: The Place where God is (Heaven). Two: The place where God is not (Hell).

Heaven is a place full of the Divine glory, love, comfort and peace.  It is where God is manifest in His completeness and seen and experienced by all.

Hell is a place where God is absolutely NOT!   It is a vacuum of the Divine, of peace, love, and comfort.

God in His love, saw that because of sin, man was separated from Himself and headed for an eternal hell.   This He did not like, want, nor had He ever intended  for it to happen.  So He came up with a plan to rescue and save us from sin and its results (Hell and Divine separation). A PLAN OF SALVATION (John 3:16).

Jesus, Who from eternity was God, came into this world born of a woman (Philippians 2:5-8, Hebrews 2:9).   He took our sins upon Himself, removing them from us, hence satisfying eternal justice by being judged on our behalf, and thus making it possible for us to be reunited in spirit with God and given eternal life anew! (1 Peter 2:22-24, Hebrews 9:24-28, Colossians 1:20-22).

Now the work of eternal salvation is complete and it is freely given as a gift from God to all of mankind.

However, each person must receive this precious and eternal gift, by exercising faith in the work of the Lord Jesus, by praying a prayer to God expressing faith in Jesus and receiving Divine forgiveness and eternal salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

It takes a simple prayer such as: "God in Heaven, I do believe that You love me.  I believe that your son Jesus came into this world and took my sin upon Himself, was judged for me, was crucified for my sin, went into hell in my place - and was raised from the dead, to appear in Heaven, to purchase my forgiveness and my salvation.

Lord Jesus, I invite you to come into my life to be my Lord and Savior.  I will live the rest of my life to follow You and to honor You."

When a person does this THEY ARE "SAVED".  Their sin is forgiven (1 John 1:9).  They become a child of God (John 1:12).  They have peace with God and can ask God for His many blessings that now belong to them through grace (Romans 5:1-2).  They will live forever with God in Heaven and the New earth (John 3:36, Revelation 21:1-4, Revelation 3:20).

We encourage you to pray this prayer and to receive this wonderful, satisfying, life changing gift from God!
